CLIMBING ACTIVITY WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY 2025
I hereby acknowledge that I am voluntarily participating in the climbing activity organized by James Aldred Ltd t/a
CANOPY ACCESS during my Operation Wallacea expedition to Honduras 2025.
I understand that climbing is a physically demanding and potentially hazardous activity that involves risks, including
but not limited to falling, equipment failure, and unpredictable weather conditions.
In consideration for being allowed to participate in this activity, I hereby agree to the following:
Assumption of Risk: I acknowledge the inherent risks associated with climbing and understand that accidents and
injuries can occur. I voluntarily assume all such risks, including those arising from the negligence of Canopy Access, its
officers, employees, agents, or other participants.
Release and Waiver: I hereby release, waive, and discharge James Aldred Ltd t/a CANOPY ACCESS, its officers,
employees, agents, and volunteers from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action that I may
have for injuries or damages arising out of my participation in the climbing activity.
Indemnification: I agree to indemnify and hold harmless James Aldred Ltd t/a CANOPY ACCESS from any loss,
liability, damage, or costs, including court costs and attorney’s fees, that may be incurred as a result of my
participation in the activity.
Medical Treatment: In the event of an emergency, I authorize James Aldred Ltd t/a CANOPY ACCESS to obtain any
necessary medical treatment for me. I understand that I will be responsible for any medical expenses incurred on my
behalf.
Compliance with Instructions: I agree to abide by all safety instructions, guidelines, and rules provided by James Aldred
Ltd t/a CANOPY ACCESS and its staff during the climbing activity. Failure to comply may result in my removal from the
activity.
Photography and Publicity: I grant James Aldred Ltd t/a CANOPY ACCESS permission to use photographs and/or videos
of me taken during the climbing activity for promotional and publicity purposes without compensation.
Rules and Regulations: I agree to abide by all rules and regulations established by James Aldred Ltd t/a CANOPY ACCESS
for the activity.
I HAVE READ THIS CLIMBING ACTIVITY WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND FULLY UNDERSTAND ITS TERMS. I
UNDERSTAND THAT I AM GIVING UP SUBSTANTIAL RIGHTS BY SIGNING THIS DOCUMENT, AND I SIGN IT VOLUNTARILY.
